Campaign:

#Moments2live4 is a global social media campaign by the UN Road Safety Fund (UNRSF) to raise awareness on the importance of investing in better road safety performance within low-and middle-income countries. In November 2021, the Fund launched its first edition of the #moments2live4 campaign urging people to share moments in life that inspire them to champion safer roads. This first eight-month campaign that targeted 24 countries – including some of the most affected and some of the strongest country champions – helped to put a spotlight on why financing for road safety matters.

To date, the campaign has reached over 10 million people through social media. High profile champions of the campaign to date include Jean Todt, UN Special Envoy for Road Safety; Michelle Yeoh, UNDP goodwill Ambassador and actor; Yohan Blake, Jamaican sprinter and world-record holder; Mick Schumacher, internationally renowned German F1 racing driver; Wayde Van Niekerk, South African sprinter and world-record holder, as well as Charles Leclerc, internationally renowned Monacan F1 racing driver. An accompanying ‘Join the change’ video was produced by an existing Fund donor - La Nuez Productions – and highlights the Fund’s US$1 or more online donation platform for contributions from citizens and small business owners.
