This project aims to provide the necessary tools, materials, capacity building and technical assistance to ESCWA member states to improve police road crashes data which is considered the main source of information. 

Iran's performance in policy making and implementation needs to be radically improved through effectiveness and efficiency enhancement in the country’s road safety management system.

In the Philippines, around 35 road crash fatalities are happening per day or an estimated 12,690 fatalities in a year.

This project seeks to carry out participative urban interventions that actively involve the community while at the same time having a positive impact on the reduction of road crashes and promote safe mobility for vulnerable road users.

In Paraguay, road traffic crashes are the leading cause of death in adolescents and young people between the ages of 15 and 29, while injuries caused by road traffic crashes have increased in the last 5 years.

Our work in Rwanda intends to build a foundation for a vibrant, scalable helmet manufacturing industry that will produce a consistent supply of safe, affordable helmets to be exported across the continent.
