Veronique Rondeau, the Programme and Partnerships Officer of the Fund, presented at the Inland Transport Committee (ITC)  the progress and impact of the Fund since its inception in 2018.

The Inland Transport Committee (ITC) is the UN platform for inland transport to help efficiently address global and regional needs in inland transport. 
In the last 75 years, with its subsidiary bodies, the ITC has provided an intergovernmental forum where UNECE and United Nations Member States come together to forge tools for economic cooperation and negotiate and adopt international legal instruments on inland transport.

This year the theme in focus is 'Actions of the Inland Transport Sector to Join the Global Fight Against Climate Change'. The UNRSF Secretariat presented the projects' progress and the need for more financing to achieve road safety sustainably.

The Office of the Special Envoy for Road Safety also made a presentation emphasising the call for more member states to join the Fund's global partnership to help scale road safety interventions in low-and middle-income countries.
