Regional cooperation for road safety highlighted at the Meeting of the Regional Collaborative Platform for Europe and Central Asia (RCP-ECA).
The United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Road Safety, Mr. Jean Todt and Ms. Nneka Henry, Head UN Road Safety Fund highlighted the benefit of a regional cooperation for road safety.

The session was also the opportunity to make an update on the UN Road Safety Fund and its projects in the region, talk about the High-Level Meeting for Road Safety 2022, the preparatory event on Financing for Road Safety (December 2021); and the engagement of UN Resident Coordinators and UNCTs in advancing the Road Safety Agenda.
