JOIN THE UNRSF PLATFORMS OF ENGAGEMENTS!
The UNRSF Platforms of Engagement are multi-stakeholder networks of thought leaders working together to shape mobility in a safer and more sustainable way, focused on the SDGs in combination with road safety. There are six platforms: Low-Carbon Sustainable Cities; Education; Gender Equality; Health; Partnerships and Data; and Economic Growth. Platform members meet to discuss and share experiences, lessons learned and ideas on high-impact road safety projects that have strong potential to trigger substantial catalytic investments to reduce road traffic fatalities.

The Health Platform convened on 30 November, with a focus on the ongoing UNRSF-funded post-crash response projects being implemented in Azerbaijan and Bangladesh. The Platform members discussed the strategies of the projects being implemented, identifying best practices, and lessons learned as well as understanding challenges in implementation as well as monitoring and evaluation.

The first meeting of the Data and Partnerships Platform will take place on 10 December 2021 and will focus on road safety forecasting tools. The Low-Carbon Sustainable Cities Platform will convene on 18 January 2022 to focus on the discussing a concept note on developing a proposed Alliance of Cities for Road Safety.
