In Lao PDR, the Fund supported improvements to the national driving licensing system, aligning it with international best practices. In Brazil, UNRSF assisted the state of Pará in strengthening speed limit enforcement on high-risk highways. We also hosted meetings at UN Headquarters in New York to prioritise road safety, ensure complementary interventions, and plan for scaled impact ahead of the 2026 UNGA High-Level Meeting on Road Safety.
