2025 opened at the 4th Global Ministerial Conference in Morocco, where UNRSF was honoured with the first-ever Mohammed VI International Prize for Road Safety — a recognition of seven years of catalytic impact. From there, we launched our Annual Report in Thailand, advanced eight new projects across five regions, and rallied global leaders at the International Transport Forum to invest in road safety.

We also completed an independent evaluation and shaped a bold five-year strategy — one that moves beyond tracking progress to demonstrating real-world change.

None of this would have been possible without the commitment of our donors, implementing partners, and beneficiary countries. You are what makes UNRSF a true catalyst for stronger road safety systems worldwide.

Looking ahead, new projects from the 2025 Call for Proposals and the landmark UN General Assembly High-Level Meeting are among the highlights shaping 2026. There is much work ahead — and we are ready.
