On World Motorcycle Day, June 21, Autoliv, Inc., the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, and the UN Road Safety Fund (UNRSF) announced the renewal of their collaboration to enhance motorcycle safety globally.
UN Road Safety Fund and Pan American Health Organization held a side event to discuss road safety challenges in Small Island Developing States. The event highlighted the importance of strengthening emergency care systems to reduce road traffic deaths, especially among young people.
The State of Qatar has joined the UN Road Safety Fund (UNRSF), a global partnership that aims to reduce road traffic deaths and injuries, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Qatar's contribution is the first since the launch of a new effort to raise funds for the UNRSF.
