On 4 April 2022, Mayors will gather at the Forum of Mayors in-person side event, UN Road Safety Fund film screening. This event will address the critical roles that cities play to improve road safety. Mayors from the African, Asian and European regions will share their insights on the 5 Pillars for improving road safety in their cities and countries in general.

In addition, there will be a screening of 5 movies from Botswana, Jordan, Kenya, Spain, and Vietnam that were shortlisted for the 8th edition of the Global Road Safety Film Festival that happened in February 2022. These stories will help to better understand the challenges and solutions for road safety in different parts of the world.

This event will be marked by the Premiere of award-winning actor, UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, Michelle Yeoh’s #moments2live4 video.
